How to get to Khlong Lan Waterfall
The easiest way to rent a car and drive to the waterfall itself. The road is very good. You can take an excursion from Kamphaeng phet, for example, the owner of the Three J Guesthouse (where we lived) organizes trips, but the price is very expensive. That's why we were looking for an alternative.
The most budget-friendly way is to take the songteo bus from the bus station from Kamphaeng phet. We came to this city not only for the waterfall, but also to explore the historical park of Kampeng Phet.
There are several bus stations in the city, you need a bus station behind the bridge (coordinates 16.475157, 99.51013). From here, songteo departs for Khlong Lan. The platform is signed - Khlong Lan. In general, the bus does not enter the waterfall, but you can ask to be dropped off at the turn to the national park. Then you can walk five km or stop a passing car.
But on the day we arrived, the songteo driver was ready to take us to the parking lot of the waterfall itself, then we need to walk only 200 meters. The price per person was 150 baht. At two o'clock we agreed that the driver would take us back. The price was also 150 baht. In total, the trip to the waterfall and back for two cost us 600 baht.
Our bass left the station at about 9.30 a.m. We could not find out the exact timetable of songteo. We spent about 2 hours and 30 minutes at the waterfall. That's enough time.
